Tomás heads the Watches and Jewellery department at Azca Auctions, boasting over 11 years of experience in the industry of watchmaking, conservation, auctions, and luxury sales. 

Following his graduation at the Escuela de Relojería Mecánica Pedro Izquierdo in Madrid, he joined the Swatch Group in Spain, repairing quartz and mechanical watches. 

Shortly after, Tomás secured positions in the workshops of Rolex and Omega as their professional master conservator and repairer and later established Upgrade Watches Ltd, overseeing the intake, handling, safe-keeping, conservation and repairs of exceptional timepieces.  

As a Head of the Watches Department at Chiswick Auctions in London, Tomás oversaw sourcing, valuation, appraisal, sales, and brokering of over 2000 luxury watches. He evolved into a professional auctioneer, increasing the average lot sold value 50-fold within three years and achieving the inaugural sold-out White Glove auction for the Watches Department, the second in the company’s history. He spearheaded watches valuations in Italy Spain, Greece, and Thailand.
