2024 in Auctions: Masterpieces and Milestones

A Celebration of Art, Luxury, and Unforgettable Moments

21/01/2025     General News

Just a few months after our debut auction in the summer and the inauguration of our new premises at 188 Rear Hammersmith Road, Azca Auctions has made waves in the world of art and luxury. Our autumn auctions alone totalled over half a million pounds (including Buyer’s Premium), establishing us as a force to reckon with in the auction world.

The World Arts cluster witnessed some exciting results, including a 19th-century Kashmiri lacquered Qur’an holder selling for over £12,000 with BP. But the Luxury cluster stole the show, offering an impressive selection of important wristwatches and jewellery, which sold for record prices. The star of the show, in this regard, was obviously the Grand Complication Celestial Patek Philippe automatic wristwatch (lot 67), which sold for £115,620 incl. BP, breaking any previous record for this model without box and papers. The auctions were hosted on several international bidding platforms, catering buyers located in all the four corners of the world. We were elated to receive over 1,200 bidding registrations from new clients.
