Indian manuscript on gold-sprinkled paper, once possibly used as cover letters to official statements, each with 10ll. of black ink, evenly spaced modi script to the page, with interlinear marks, each document enhanced with rows of gilt floral stems including roses, tulips, and carnations, and signed at the bottom, the reverse plain.
Each approximately 40cm x 21.5cm
Provenance: in a private Bristol collection in 1982 - 1985; then sold and purchased in the UK market by the present owner.
